Hi-De-Hi 30th Anniversary Celebrations
Love this show. It was shown here in Sri Lanka when it came out we enjoyed it thoroughly. Sadly we don't have a way to tape it as it's not available here. Except for the snippets on YT, I don't know how to watch it.
then the boy who played kendall watched empire strikes back and saw him force choked by darth vader
Jones and Danny Kendal should have collected evidence and names of witnesses. But these days he could have recorded it covertly, never mind trhe details, it was the evidence he needed.
I say, that was a jolly good show. It's a bally shame, that it wasn't longer. :\
Impressed by the acting.
We had hot pants 😅
Mrs Mclusky was a great actor.
Why no mention of Hilary Tyndall or the actor who replaces Glynn Owen ?
She died in 94 and there was a mention of Pat O'Connell in this retrospective show 20 minutes in, The cast said he was a bit miserable after a drink
a scouse accent in grange hill? wtf
This is one of my favorite shows. I have the full series on disc. Su Pollard is just fantastic! ARIZONA USA
They criticise the fashions when there haven't been fashions for decades.....oh yes I forget we've got black leggings
He was in Empire strikes back
He was brilliant as Brosnan. My Fav programme after school. Loved it
Michael Sheard also played Adolf Hitler in the Tomorrow People episode Hitler's Last Secret . A top chap that played dictatorial characters rather well.
Takes me back - Production Managed a whole batch of them back in the day and Floor Managed quite a few. Ah, live television - those were the days....
First reported incident of RAAC failure 6 minutes in…..
And then he failed Darth Vader for the last time!
Angry Bronson 😂😂 loveley
"You failed me for the last time Admiral Ozzel"
The guy who played kendal works in local chippy, he slipped last year and fried his arm, we had a whip round and got him a side of gravy
Michael Sheard: Mr Bronson, Adolf Hitler and Admiral Ozzel. Michael Sheard was a great guy and fascinating to talk to. He was from quite near to me and met him many times at conventions and local events. I once spoke to him for over two hours at a small role-playing event. He told me he would happily speak to me all day, provided I bought his book, so I pretty much held him to it. 😁I still have the signed copy of the book that I bought. He even, very generously, gave me the opportunity to take the role of Darth Vader while he re-created the death of Admiral Ozzel on stage at a convention. He used to carry his Star Wars Admiral Ozzel collectible card with a message from George Lucas written on it. The message was something like "to the worst Admiral in the imperial fleet", a message that he was clearly very proud of. Mr Sheard told me a great story: he was attending a screening (premiere?) of The Empire Strikes back in the UK, and when Admiral Ozzel first appeared on screen, someone in the audience yelled "f*ck me, it's Mr Bronson", such was the power of the character. A great guy and sadly missed.
Played hitler in Indiana Jones and the last crusade
Bronson was 100% correct .Danny Kendal was a retard
Fantastic actor. His autobiography makes for good reading. An amusing, interesting and intelligent man. Much missed.
Mr B was always angry.
Brilliant actor I think most of us who attended school in the eighties had there equivalent of Mr Bronson
A legend
"Don't be impertinent, boy!" Loved Mr Bronson
Brilliant actor. The teacher we all loved to hate. Groundbreaking series that my generation really appreciated.
I like it when he told Darth Vader the rebel base wasn’t on Hoth
He was only 44/45 in auf wiedersen pet!
Danny kendal died in his car
Danny detention in my office after school
I had a teacher like mr bronson he was always on my case
He was abit like Hitler 😂
Whys he so angry? They're just trying to help him
I would have loved to have mr Bronson as a teacher
Loved him as Her Grunwald in Auf Wiedersehen Pet.
Sounds like a DALEK
5:33……is that Gary Neville?
To do with teachers like this nowadays not the piss ass wimps nowaday
Remember kids, just say no.
Gary Nevile is in trouble now!!!!
Sus performance as Ivy was so endearing.
I met him once at the Biggin Hill airshow . A lovely man , very interesting stories etc .
Used to love going there with my dad !
Get A Chair On.......Keep Your Hair On
Wonder if Mr Bronson was the inspiration for Edward (local shop, for local people) The League of Gentlemen? 🧐🧐🧐
When teachers were allowed to deploy a strong level of disciple. Yet you can see the levels of respect were dwindling in the 80s
Imo It went downhill as soon as kids had to have 24 hours notice before a detention
Great memories,he sounds like a dalek on steroids 😂
Used to love getting in from school and watching this
